Looking for something fun to do? From Mom and Baby Playgroups to Crafts for Preschoolers, the SCDC has activities for all ages.Mom and Baby Playgroup
The SCDC, partnered with the Shrewsbury Public Library Children's Department, presents a weekly Mom & Baby Playgroup. This informal group gives moms an opportunity to meet other moms in a casual atmosphere. It's a great chance to get out of the house with your little one and socialize with other moms and their babies! Older siblings are welcome to join us too. No registration is required for this free drop-in playgroup. We hope to see you there!
Crafts for Kids
Come join us for some crafty fun! Once a month, we roll up our sleeves and create fun, seasonal artwork with friends old and new. This 45-minute event takes place on the second Thursday of each month at 10:00am. It is intended for children 3 to 5 years of age. Younger children may need more help from a parent or guardian.
Registration is required, as space is limited. Detailed information about each "Crafts for Kids" event will be e-mailed and posted on the "Announcements" page a few weeks before the event. Please sign up for the e-mail list to be sure that you have the latest information about these events.
Sing and Swing
This 45-minute music enrichment program includes singing, dancing, instruments and a parachute. It is a rollicking fun time for children and parents.
